Dr. Stella Tai
Dr. Stella Tai graduated with her Doctor of Optometry degree in 1993 from the University of Waterloo, School of Optometry. In 1996, she received her certification to prescribe therapeutic drugs from Northern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. After graduating, she was an Associate at various clinics throughout the GTA before establishing her own clinic in 1998.
Dr. Tai is an active member of the Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO) and the Ontario Association of Optometrists (OAO). She regularly attends continuing education lectures and workshops to ensure she is always up-to-date with the most recent ophthalmic products and technology.
Dr. Tai has a reputation for being caring, professional and thorough in her examinations. Her practice in Oakville is equipped with the most recent technology (e.g. 3D optical coherence tomography (OCT), visual field analyzer, and digital retinal camera) that can check for age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma.
